Rebecca Shirey is a writer, speaker, a faith seeker,
Through biblical teaching, personal stories and practical application, Rebecca leads her audiences to:

- Live out their faith with grace and courage.
- Multiply their faith by investing in the next generation.
The Lord led Rebecca into a decade of intense Bible Study preparation before releasing her into a speaking and teaching ministry. Since then, the Lord has taken her around the world as a keynote speaker in 12 foreign countries as well as in venues throughout the United States.
Part of Rebecca’s personal testimony includes a five year period in which the Lord led Rebecca and her husband on an adventure in faith. with their household goods in storage from retirement and a year of schooling, they loaded up a few personal belongings in their white Buick LeSabre and set out to follow God’s lead.

Their journey led them across the United States, serving people and ministries, and learning to live by faith.
Rebecca’s ministry has been enriched by her role as a military spouse, and by her years of involvement with Protestant Women of the Chapel (PWOC), a multi-generational, multi-denominational, multi-ethnic ministry to military women.
She served as PWOC International Titus 2 Advisor from 2006-2010. Becky previously served at the Regional and National levels.
Her writings include devotions for the Upper Room, Adult teacher and student Bible Study C
In addition, she was the lead editor and contributing writer for yearly leadership curriculums for PWOC, including Bound to Lead.
Rebecca is married to her college sweetheart, Dr. Lou Shirey, a retired Army Chaplain. Lou now serves as Director of World Intercession Network and Director of Pastor Care and Development for the IPHC. They have been married for 48 years.
Rebecca and Lou serve on the presenter team for Galatians 6:6 Marriage Retreats for ministry couples and More Than Married Conferences for congregations. (greatcommandment.net).
They are also members of America’s National Prayer Committee.
Rebecca and Lou have three children and nine grandchildren. They live in Edmond OK.
